Sarah and Ryan have such a contagious energy and you feel like family the minute you meet them. It was such a pleasure planning with these two and seeing everything come together was incredible. Their wedding took place at Zingerman’s Cornman Farms on a sunny, 70 degree day in late September. It was the kind of fall day that Michiganders live for.
Ryan anxiously awaited his bride as Sarah was escorted down the aisle by her father, Scott, who then performed their ceremony. He was a proud Dad! Before their ceremony began, wedding painter Mikaela Greene arrived as a surprise for the couple from Sarah’s parents. She painted their first kiss as husband and wife that they will now have in their home forever. Such a sweet gift! After the ceremony, guests headed into cocktail hour where they enjoyed cool drinks, yard games and appetizers. Upon entering the cocktail hour space, guests were greeted with a wall of bud vases filled with wild flowers and sea glass that Sarah and her Mom had collected that each guest was able to take home at the end of the night. Sarah and Ryan cut their cake and it was time to introduce the newlyweds.
Guests entered the dinner tent filled with hanging greenery, bistro lights, white floral arrangements, and glowing candlelight. After dinner, Sarah and Ryan shared their first dance as husband and wife and it was time to party. DJ Bryce got everyone on the dance floor and they partied the night away under the sparkling disco balls. As the evening came to a close, guests lined the sidewalk with sparklers as our newlyweds spent the last few moments alone with one last dance then made their way down the sidewalk and were chauffeured away in a jet black vintage Rolls Royce. It was a fairy-tale ending to the most perfect day. Congratulations!
