Rosie & Eric

What a dreamy day up in the clouds to celebrate Rosie and Eric’s wedding day! These two decided that downtown Detroit was the perfect location to host their chic metropolitan wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better late September day with partly sunny skies and 70 degrees, it was a “chef’s kiss” kind of day!

Guests arrived at the GM Renaissance Center in the heart of Detroit along the river and then took in the riverfront views in the glass elevators as they went up 72 floors to the couple’s venue, Highlands Detroit. Upon entering the venue they guests were able to take in panoramic views of the river, Canada and downtown Detroit. The ceremony scene was set with chic chair covers and a lovely arch installation where Rosie and Eric shared their vows together. Then guests headed through to the reception portion of the venue where they were really able to take in those stunning downtown Detroit views! Rosie and Eric even had a canvas board created of the Detroit skyline for guests to sign. A chic garland of babies breath surrounded glowing led candles with neutral colors. A neon sign hung above Rosie and Eric’s couple’s table and we were able to embellish it further by adding their ceremony installations in front of it as well. 

The dining experience at the Highlands is unbelievable and guests enjoyed plated entrees of beef filet, sea scallops and black truffle cavatelli. Following a plated dessert, Rosie and Eric kicked off the dance floor with their first dance and that dance floor didn’t slow down once! It was such a special day to be a part of and we are so happy for this amazing pair!
