Nick and Nia are a whole vibe and you can’t help but be drawn to their energy. They put so much thought into every detail of their wedding day so that it reflected exactly who they are and it was magical. The day started with hours and hours of heavy rainfall, but 30 minutes before the ceremony the sky cleared and these two were able to have their dream ceremony in the middle of the stunning water garden on the grounds of The Felt Mansion. Their ceremony was officiated by their good friend, Cecilio, which made it extra special. After the ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail hour throughout the historic mansion and walked around the gorgeous property. Inside the mansion, guests were able to leave personalized messages for the couple on their retro guest book phone and read all of the well wishes from Nia’s 5th grade students.
Guests were then welcomed into the reception tent with each table featuring a different brass object that they have collected over the years sitting atop a stack of children’s encyclopedias that were surrounded by lush greenery and bright, bold flowers. The newlyweds made their grand entrance and shared their first dance before a delicious meal was served by Martha’s Catering. After dinner, guests were in for a real treat with a dessert table by Mon Petit Momo featuring strawberry lychee tarts, chocolate koshian mousse tarts, ube mango lemongrass cheesecake mooncakes, and taro cupcakes with berry buttercream. There wasn’t a single dessert left on the table by the end of the night! DJ Ian kicked off the party and they danced the night away. The formal reception came to a close but Nick, Nia, and a group of their closest friends were able to head inside the Felt Mansion that they rented for an overnight stay and continue the celebration. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
Congratulations Nick & Nia!
