What an unforgettable day! The connection and love between Lauren and Dylan is undeniable and being able to witness it on their wedding day was pure magic. Their intimate wedding was planned as a thank you to their family and close friends. Everything was planned with so much intention and it was an honor to be a part of it.
Lauren and Dylan chose their new home to be the setting of their intimate wedding and it was honestly, perfect. What a beautiful way to create those memories and tie them to their home together. Through much love and dedication, the couple and their families prepared the inside of their home and the yard to transform into their wedding backdrop. The landscaping and flowers planted were even done so within the color palette of the wedding flowers creating a cohesive look. Guests arrived at the wedding and were able to partake in welcome drinks and mingle before the ceremony began. Upon taking their chairs, in the grass lawn, the wedding party entered, followed by Lauren and her mom. Beneath an arbor painted by the couple and adorned in moody jewel tone flowers by VanderSalms Flowers, Lauren and Dylan shared their vows together. Then guests were able to enjoy a cocktail hour in the backyard with signature drinks named after the couple’s cats; Oz and Pax. Delicious appetizers from Experience Partage were on display featuring; butter rum shrimp in pesto and triple cream brie flatbread and more. One unique element to the day was that Experience Partage prepared the food for the day out of the couple’s kitchen and grill, which felt so special!
Following a group photo, all of the guests gathered on the back patio, under a pergola built by the couple and their family. Beneath the awning were wood tables and wood diamondback chairs laid with deep blue velour runners and color taper candles. The flower arrangements were so colorful and beautiful- another intentional moment, was choosing VanderSalms to create the flowers because that is where Dylan buys all of his bouquets for Lauren. They even incorporated sage into the arrangements, because it was a core memory of the couple’s early days together walking through a sage field enroute to a concert. The main vision for this setting was an evening dinner party spent with family. Experience Partage served up stunning spreads of shared food for the family to partake in just as the sun was setting. With the guest count being 28 people, the couple was able to spend so much authentic time with everyone throughout the day. After the sun had set, Lauren and Dylan shared their first dance together underneath the pergola. Following, desserts had been laid out with a French Press coffee station for guests to enjoy and take in the evening. Then Bash DJs kicked off the dance floor and everyone had a blast dancing and watching the fun. I honestly don’t have the right words for what it was to be a part of this day and it was so special to bring it together for this amazing couple.
Congratulations Lauren and Dylan- we wish you so much love and happiness!
