Joy. That’s what I feel when I think about Katie and Ryan and their picture perfect day. After more than a decade together, the excitement of this day could be felt by every family member and friend in attendance. Under the most brilliant clear blue October sky, Katie was escorted down the aisle by her father to meet her forever. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the cozy outdoor patio area for cocktail hour. Then family and friends enjoyed appetizers, played corn-hole on the custom “Katie & Ryan Devriendt” boards, and toured the stunning grounds of Tandale Nature Barn located in Brighton, Michigan.
As guests entered the barn, each table was set with gold chargers, blush napkins, white china, and the sweetest card from the couple thanking everyone for being part of their journey. A mix of tall and low centerpieces featuring lush greenery, blush and white flowers and romantic candlelight set the mood for the evening. After a delicious plated meal was served by Chowhound Gourmet Catering, guests were treated to decadent cake from MI Great Lakes Cakes and Katie’s mother’s “famous” chocolate chip cookies. Then Bash Entertainment kicked off the party with everyone’s favorites and packed the dance floor all night long. Their party would not have been complete without everyone on the dance floor grinning ear to ear while doing “the chicken dance” and of course, multi-colored LED light sticks. This dance flot was was a whole vibe and the crowd was an absolute blast. Towards the end of the night, everyone cheered as party size pizzas were delivered from Cottage Inn. Late night pizza is always a crowd-pleaser! It was such a fun night celebrating these two.
Cheers to Katie and Ryan – wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!
