This pair is truly a perfect match! The way that Katie and Nick balance, complement and love each other is really something special. It was our pleasure to witness this and help them celebrate their wedding day with their friends and family! 

Their downtown Detroit wedding took place at the Whiskey Factory on a perfect spring day. After getting ready at the Shinola Hotel downtown, the couple and their wedding party arrived at the venue for the ceremony. Katie and Nick shared their vows in front of their loved ones underneath a colorful floral installation arch and cheers erupted following their announcement! Guests headed down to the lower level to enjoy delicious passed appetizers from Two Unique Catering. The appetizers featured mouth-watering options such as; chicken & waffle bites, yakitori beef satay and tuna poke. It didn’t just stop there either! Guests were treated to a delicious plated dinner service with boneless short rib, chardonnay lemon chicken and more! Following dinner, Katie and Nick took to the dance floor to share a meaningful first dance together. Then DJ Mike Hartmando packed that dance floor until the end of the night! During dancing, guests could also sign the couple’s whiskey barrel guest book and partake in their photo ISpy game. Katie and Nick also chose a unique Dolce Fiesta dessert station from Two Unique Catering which featured; churro cheesecake bites, tres leches shooters, margarita bars, honey habanero cornbread babycakes and more! This evening was amazing from start to finish and it was all because of this couple!
