Hayley and Andrew’s wedding was the perfect way to kick-off our 2023 wedding season! After planning together for over 14 months, we were so excited to see the day unfold for this sweet pair! For these two, it was about being surrounded by their friends and family, good food and fun music- and their day definitely delivered!
Their February wedding took place at the historic Gem Theatre in downtown Detroit on a clear winter day. After spending some time together during the day after their first look and photos downtown, Hayley and Andrew reunited with their family at the venue for their family pictures. Following the photos, they all headed to the getting ready rooms to relax and enjoy some champagne. This was such a nice time for the couple and their families to spend together before the ceremony. Their ceremony took place in the Century Theatre on the upper level of the venue and included readings from “I Have Just Said” by Mary Oliver and “I’ll Believe in Anything” by Spencer Krug.
Following the ceremony, guests headed to the Century Grille room to enjoy cocktail hour and mingle. Hayley and Andrew worked up a fun game for their guests to enjoy as well! They created a Sip and Solve crossword puzzle featuring facts about themselves. It was so much fun watching guests fill in the answers and then reading the full board later on! In the main reception space, tables were set with romantic blush and white floral compote arrangements from Something Borrowed Blooms. (Seriously, you would never know they were faux and bonus, they are rentals!) The Gem Theatre served up a delicious dinner followed by fun chocolate chip cookies for dessert- yum! Then Wayne from Rock Out Entertainment took it from there and created such a fun dance floor, which even included surprise glow wands! It couldn’t have been a better day for these two and we were so happy to be a part of it!
Congratulations Hayley & Andrew- wishing you much love and happiness!
