It’s impossible to fully express the sheer joy, love, and incredible fun that flowed through Erica and Ryan’s camp wedding. Their autumnal wedding day at YMCA Camp Pinewood was as vibrant and unique as the couple themselves. Every moment of the day unfolded with such ease. From the relaxed morning with their closest loved ones to the unforgettable celebration that followed.

Erica and Ryan envisioned a wedding that truly reflected their laid-back yet adventurous spirits. Their day began with a cozy and intimate vibe, surrounded by the beauty of the Michigan woods. The autumn colors painted the landscape in rich oranges, reds, and golds. Ryan spent his morning soaking in the quiet of nature with his groomsmen. Erica and her friends enjoyed a peaceful morning getting ready in one of the cabins. The couple’s wedding was all about bringing their closest friends and family together for a weekend of celebration. The highlight was that guests had the opportunity to stay on-site in the charming cabins at YMCA Camp Pinewood. It created a truly immersive experience where everyone could relax and enjoy the beauty of the natural surroundings and feeling of connection.

As the time came for their first look, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation. Erica walked through a grove of trees and locked eyes with Ryan. The sun peeking through the autumn leaves captured the moment perfectly and created the most spectacular setting for this couple who had patiently awaited this day.

Ceremony:

Erica and Ryan choose to hide their wedding rings under a guest’s seat for them to find as well. Laughter erupted as everyone scrambled to find the rings. The charming Butler Lodge set the scene for dinner and dinner, which accent with personal accents from Erica and Ryan. Soft candlelight, crystal chandeliers, and vintage decor added a sense of warmth and whimsy to the venue. The couple had chosen a color palette of deep jewel tones and gold accents. These colors seamlessly blended with the surrounding nature. Rows of wood tables adorned with wildflower arrangements, peacock blue plates, burnt orange linen napkins and amber water goblets. Every detail thoughtfully planned to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Laughter and toasts filled the air as guests indulged in their dinner. This experience reflected the couple’s love for great food and even better company. Ryan and Erica’s first dance was a moment of pure magic as they swirled and laughed. Under twinkling lights and a few disco balls, the party did not stop as the DJ threw down hit after hit. It was pure joy as everyone danced the night away, surrounded by the autumn colors and the warmth of friendship.

The couple treated their guests to a dessert table that was brimming with an array of fresh donuts. As the night went on, the couple made sure to treat their guests to a crowd favorite—walking tacos.
