Wedding Story

A veil fluttering in the breeze, hands clasped after saying vows, memories and laughter shared over toasts, Christina and Patrick’s Cushing Field House wedding day was filled with moments that will last a lifetime. These two are so kind, genuine and supportive of each other and their families while truly balancing each other and a true ying to the other’s yang, a perfect match. 

Ceremony:

Guests arrived on a warm fall day to Cushing Field House in Holly, Michigan nestled in the countryside to a stunning meadow with treeline backdrop for the couple’s ceremony. It was pure magic watching Christina walk down the aisle with her family to Patrick. Their ceremony was filled with lots of laughter, sweet moments and love. Following the ceremony, the couple and the wedding party led the way back to the venue where a cocktail hour featuring refreshing drinks and delicious appetizers awaited guests. It was the perfect fall afternoon for everyone to mingle outside in the patio furniture spread throughout the courtyard area. Guests could also take photos in the ShutterBooth Photo Booth during cocktail hour and throughout the night and have some mementos to take away with them.

Reception & Beyond:

A curtain divider opened at the end of cocktail hour to reveal the reception space. Glowing candles with chic black and white accents filled the room and set a romantic scene for dinner and dancing. The Moveable Feast served an amazing spread for dinner and dessert. A surprise for their guests, Christina and Patrick had the Cappuccino Man cart come to serve everything for the rest of the night and it was such a crowd-pleaser! Love Plus Entertainment kicked off the dance floor with some meaningful family dances and then the couple’s first dance. A dancing highlight is a crab dance tradition from Christina’s family, see below, so much fun! This day was a complete dream from start to finish and planning with these two was the absolute best.
