Chelsea & Danny
It’s a love story, they said yes! Chelsea and Danny’s downtown Detroit wedding was such a joy to be a part of from start to finish! This day had such an ease to it, just like this couple’s love for each other, it was so special!
After getting ready at the Detroit Foundation Hotel, Danny and Chelsea shared a first look and their personal vows together. Then their wedding party headed over to Batch Brewing to hangout time together before heading over to their venue, the Whiskey Factory. The ceremony was set with black chiavari chairs and a metal arch covered in greenery and was officiated by a close friend of the couple. Following the ceremony, everyone headed downstairs to enjoy tasty appetizers like crab cakes, brie bites and chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in bacon (yum!) from Two Unique Catering and cocktails from the Whiskey Factory.
Guests returned upstairs to a transformed room, it is always so much fun to see everyone’s reactions! Chelsea and Danny were welcomed into the room with loud cheers and by running through a tunnel of their wedding party! Then Chelsea’s maid of honor, Johanna, and Danny’s brother, Jeff, gave lovely toasts to the pair followed by a thank you from the couple as well. Everyone enjoyed a meal together and a delicious petite dessert station before Derek from the Block Party opened up the dance floor that didn’t quit until the last song. We then surprised the guests mid-song with the heart sunglasses and glow wands during one of the couple’s favorite songs; Taylor Swift’s “Love Story.” What an amazing day!
