Real Wedding Story: Julia & Nate

Julia and Nate’s wedding day was full of so many amazing genuine moments and it could never be replicated. The ease of love that flows between these two, along with their friends and family was so special to witness on this day. It was such a pleasure planning with these two from the beginning and even better seeing it all come together for them! 

Their wedding took place at Zingerman’s Cornman Farms in Dexter, MI and it couldn’t have been a more perfect August, summer day! A light breeze, high seventies and sunny skies; a perfect weather recipe. During the day, Nate and Julia got ready with their wedding party at the farmhouse, which was then followed by three very important first looks. After a sweet first look between the couple, their happy pup- Frisbee was so excited to see her parents and then the couple had some pictures with their 10 month old son, Seth. From here the day had such an ease and comfortable feel to it as it flowed along. The couple got married in front of the farmhouse with lush greenery and flower pillars accenting their ceremony backdrop. Then guests headed over to the farmhouse to enjoy cool drinks, play lawn games, mingle with some petting goats and enjoy delicious appetizers, corn ribs and mini chicken and waffles, from Cornman Farms. As it became time for the couple’s introduction, guests found their seats with the help of escort cards featuring a lovely blue agate stone print and accented with seaglass. Calming blue napkins and white and blue floral arrangements highlighted the guests tables and everyone gathered for the dinner. It was so fun to listen to the memories shared by Nate’s family, Julia’s family, Nate’s best man- James and Julia’s sister and maid of honor- Addie. Then the most perfect summer meal was served featuring melon and cucumber salads along with entrees of wheat berry risotto and roasted chicken. After sharing their first dance and dances with their parents, LuFru Entertainment opened up the dance floor and kept it filled all the way through! It was truly a magical day!
