Emily & Will’s wedding was authentic, one of a kind and true to them. This day was carefully curated by this thoughtful couple to focus on all of the people that they loved. As Will’s dad said in his toast, “these two are probably thinking about if everyone enjoyed their meal, were having fun etc. But guess what, we’re doing great!” There’s so much love for this amazing couple! It was a joy to be a part of their day!
Their wedding took place at the historic Lit venue in downtown Grand Rapids. This hall used to be a Women’s Literacy Club and it was along that theme that the couple incorporated some of their details. Will and Emily even added an interactive element to their day- guests were welcome to take home books from the centerpieces! It was so fun watching guests exploring all of the different options and creating little book piles. This wedding day was not short of meaningful moments, from the couple’s vows, wedding party toasts and toasts from each of their father’s it was so special to witness. Following a delicious dinner from Adeline Leigh Catering, Motor City Soul took the stage and sang for Emily and Will’s first dance and parent dances. For the rest of the night their crew was on the dance floor boogying to the band’s fun songs! Such an amazing day!
Congratulations Emily and Will! This is just the beginning of your story!
