June 4th was a day that I will never forget! Eryn and Jai’shon were an absolute dream to work with and their wedding was one for the books. Their ceremony took place in the assembly hall at Forty Nine South that was draped in buttery soft, flowy white fabric. The couple stood in front of the most stunning greenery and white floral pillars created by Sparrow Bloom as they said their vows. The ceremony was officiated by Russell Davis IV, the groom’s brother-in-law, which added that extra special touch. This couple’s love for each other and their family and friends is immeasurable. After the ceremony, guests headed outside to the patio for cocktail hour and appetizers. Guests cocktails were complete with custom drink stirrers featuring their beloved pup, Stella. On their way, they passed a memorial table with drawings on Eryn and Jai in their wedding attire with their late grandparents. Cue the tears! Each framed drawing had wallet size prints for family and friends to take with them. It was such a special tribute to those they loved that were not able to be with them in person but in their hearts.
DJ Todd Everett from the Todd Everett Experience opened the reception with grand entrances and they were grand! Eryn and Jai entered the reception, every guest on their feet cheering as they began their first dance alone. After a few minutes, Todd invited the entire room to join them and surround them with love. The energy was contagious! A plated meal was then served by Julie Tylutki and her staff at The Catering Company. When Julie says that she cooks with love, she means it. What a treat! After dinner, there was a surprise. A surprise for Jai’s sister and brother-in-law, Russell and Brandi Davis. The Davis’ were married at a small ceremony and did not have a reception so Eryn and Jai wanted to share this moment with them and give them their first dance. Now that all of the tears were out of the way, it was time to party! DJ Todd delivered and packed that dance floor. As they danced the night away, everyone enjoyed the dessert shelf, packed with all of the couple’s favorites. It featured donuts from Hinkley Bakery in Jackson, MI which has been a staple of our community since 1913, mini cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, and Italian wedding cookies made with love by Eryn’s Grandma Fran. Guests had an absolute ball with the photo booth 360, capturing moments to last a lifetime. One last treat was in store as pizza from Klavon’s was brought in to close out the night. A perfect day full of love, we are so happy for you two!
Congratulations Eryn and Jai’shon!
