On the most perfect, partly cloudy, 70-degrees June day- Emma and Ibrahim said “I do” and it couldn’t have gone better! The pair were married in front of 120 of their loved ones at Emma’s family’s home in Sidney, Michigan. The beautiful field and treeline created a lovely backdrop for their ceremony, which was officiated by Emma’s brother. Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception tent. Tables were decorated with ivory linens, candlesticks and milk-glass vases filled with blush, white flowers and greenery by the family. One of our favorite elements on the tables were the pressed flowers in the table number frames. At the outdoor bar, guests enjoyed cold, festive signature drinks; like the classic margarita and strawberry mojito. Emma and Ibrahim also had an After the Tone recording phone for guests to leave voice messages of well-wishes and advice. Dinner was a delicious spread from a wood-fire oven pizza trailer, Who Doesn’t Love Pizza, along with traditional South African rice dishes were also served and were a huge crowd favorite! For dessert, the Cakabakery provided cookie-dough, marble and carrot cake cupcakes. They also made a stunning wedding cake with hand-painted wildflowers along the sides- so colorful and it perfectly matched their style! After a special toast from Marcella, Emma’s matron of honor, the couple shared their first dance and opened up the dance floor! MoonShot Band provided live music throughout the rest of the night as everyone danced the night away under the stars!
Congratulations to Emma & Ibrahim!
