Lauren and Connor’s wedding was such an representation and an extension of their love to their family and friends. This pair is so detail-oriented and thoughtful, it made their planning process a dream! They were so intentional with their wedding details and vendor choices to create a hospitable atmosphere for their guests. Their vendor team knocked it out of the park and it was such an amazing day for their wedding!
It was a perfect 75 degree day with some cloud cover, making it so nice as guests made their way through the vineyard to the oak tree ceremony location at Black Barn Vineyard and Winery. It was such a magical moment as Lauren and her father made their way down to Connor, who was seeing Lauren for the first time that day. The ceremony was officiated by Lauren’s aunt, Stacy, and it included some special vows spoken by the couple. Following the ceremony, the couple and their family took family pictures by the oak tree as guests made their way back to the venue. Delicious passed appetizer options from Cutting Edge Cuisine, such as fried chicken and waffle forks, sweet potato sushi rolls and tomato soup shooters with grilled cheese croutons were enjoyed by guests during cocktail hour. The plated dinner did not disappoint as well featuring an apple salad with chicken, salmon and stuffed pepper entrees. After dinner, guests had fun catching up with each other and the couple as they made their way around the room. In lieu of wedding cake, Lauren and Connor decided to feed each other donuts! Such a perfect way to usher in the changing of the seasons as well! The donuts were cinnamon sugar and pumpkin flavors from a local cider mill. Next up the couple and their parents opened up the dance floor! Lauren and Connor had a memorable first dance followed by a fun choreographed dance by Lauren and her father! Following that DJ Ryan Rousseau kept that dance floor moving with unique interactive song mixes- such a hit! To cap off the night the wedding party did a faux send-off during dances and the rest of the evening followed on into the night. Such a wonderful day for this great pair!
