Real Wedding Story: Gabby & Sam

Sometimes things just work out exactly as they are meant to be and for Gabby and Sam, it couldn’t have been more true. This sweet couple made the tough decision to postpone their wedding in 2020 and opt for a wedding in August 2021 and it was such an amazing day!

Gabby and Sam both got ready for their wedding at Black Barn Vineyard and Winery. Then after a super sweet first look moment, they enjoyed some time with their wedding party and family taking pictures prior to their ceremony. It was really important to them to spend cocktail hour mingling with their loved ones and we were all about it! The ceremony took place under the romantic willow tree in front of the pond at Black Barn. While it was a hot day, the willow provided some much needed shade and there was a perfect subtle breeze. Following the ceremony, Zingerman’s Catering kept everyone’s taste buds wanting more with their amazing appetizers. Mojitos and margaritas were the couple’s signature drink, which were the perfect fit for this summer day! Long communal tables awaited guests, which were decorated with soft teal cheesecloth runners, glowing assorted candles and ceramic vases filled with gorgeous blooms from Wildscape Floral. Every place setting featured mixed china plates and goblets that added a fun and whimsical feel to their wedding look. After an amazing dinner, their guests enjoyed lawn games, s’mores by the fire table, chatting on the deck and hitting the dance floor. Extra fun elements were the cake flavors chosen by Gabby and Sam such as; cinnamon roll cake, almond cake, chocolate cake and vanilla cake with lemon curd and fresh blueberries- yum! We had the best time working with this couple and it was an amazing day!
