Real Wedding Story: Ashley & Matthew

Ashley and Matthew’s wedding day was such a great representation of them together as a couple. Both of them are so kind and caring and they show that to others in such an effortless way. The day started in the same way, it was so calm and easy-going as the beauty appointments from Fluid Salon took place with some fun music happening in the background. Then the guys arrived later on and enjoyed some cards before getting ready. Choosing not to see each other before the ceremony, these two were so excited to meet each other under the pergola to say their vows! It was a sunny, warm spring day, which worked perfectly for their outdoor ceremony in front of the pond at Black Barn. Their florist, Bella Fiori Designs adorned the wooden pergola with lush greenery and purple accent flowers. It was such a sweet moment to see these two tie the knot! 

Back in the barn, guest tables glowed with varying height candles and were filled with scattered greens and petals. Each place setting also included a menu card, which noted the wedding’s fun and festive menu featuring Mexican entrees and sides from Wesley’s Catering- it was such a hit! Following dinner, Ashley and Matthew cut their adorable cake from Mitten Made Pastries then opened up their gourmet cupcake station. These cupcakes were little pieces of heaven and included flavors like strawberry shortcake, Reese’s peanut butter cup, s’mores and apple turnover (so delicious!)  Guests enjoyed their cupcakes while they watched the couple’s formal dances, then the dance floor opened and it didn’t slow down until the last song! It was so much fun being along for the ride on their wedding day!
