Real Wedding Story: Kelsey & Tony

It was such a pleasure to help this sweet couple achieve their wedding dreams! Kelsey and Tony along with their bridal party and family were all so kind and warm, it really made the day such a breeze! Michigan gave us one last 80 degree day for their late September wedding and it did not disappoint.

Their ceremony unfolded on the shaded lawn behind Black Barn in front of the large pond. Lee Floral Design set the scene with lush white floral and greenery arrangements on wine barrels at the front of the aisle and along the arbor. Kelsey walked down the aisle with her father to Tony to an instrumental version of “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman and it was such a lovely moment. Following their ceremony, guests enjoyed signature drinks on the deck from Slingin Sisters Event Bartending and passed appetizers from Angel Food Catering. Their caterer also served guests mini charcuterie plates as well, so delicious! Before reception introductions, guests entered the outdoor tent to discover quite a beautiful scene dreamed up by the bride and their families. Glowing candles scattered amongst mix greenery garlands from Lee Floral Design along with vintage white chargers adorned the tables. Then at each place setting, guests found a thoughtful thank you note from the bride and groom tucked into their napkin fold. But that’s not all! Each guest also received their own wooden name cutout at their seat along with cake pops from Cake My Day Freeland.

Following an amazing served buffet from Angel Food Catering, Kelsey and Tony cut their wedding cake and then Kelsey surprised him with a special confetti groom’s cake, which is Tony’s favorite! After their formal dances, the dance floor opened up and it did not slow down once thanks to Forella Events! This crew loved to dance! Off the dance floor guests mingled in the reception tent, enjoyed Taco Bell late night snack and roasted s’mores at the bonfire. To close off this wonderful day, all of the guests gathered outside to send-off Kelsey and Tony with a sparkler exit, such a great way to end the night!
