Allanah and Vincent’s wedding day was so representative of them as a couple and mostly in part, because they both were so involved throughout the planning process. All of the details, overall vibe and flow of the day couldn’t have gone better for these two!
Originally planning for a winter wedding, these two moved their wedding forward so that they could celebrate in some warmer weather and take advantage of the outdoor features at their venue. Their wedding also happened to take place during peak fall in Michigan and mother nature did not disappoint with some amazing colors for their wedding day. The group started their day getting ready at their venue, Black Barn Vineyard and Winery. It was fun and relaxing morning as Kiss Hair and Makeup provided some beauty appointments as the day started to take shape. Also, shout out to Allanah and Vincent’s wedding party, this crew was so supportive, kind, lighthearted and hype for our couple, it was so wonderful to see!
As the wedding guests arrived, they followed signs leading them out to the historic oak tree in the vineyard on the venue’s property. What followed next was such a sweet wedding ceremony to celebrate this couple! (Hear an excerpt from their ceremony in the video below!) A moment from that day that really stood out to me was as Allanah and I were driving in the golf cart together en route to her ceremony, mere minutes before she’s about to walk down the aisle- she wanted to know about how my recent move was and how our kids were doing. The pure selflessness of this couple was so amazing and these two are such a treasure.
After the ceremony, guests headed back to the bar to enjoy appetizers and cocktails on the deck. This talented couple also made all of their own wedding signage and photo booth backdrop, which all perfectly tied together to fit their metallic modern wedding style. Place settings were adorned with square rose gold chargers and match rose gold silverware. A crisp vertical fold of their black napkins matched their chic thank you note design. To top it all off a wooden cutout of each guest’s name was placed at their seats.
During an incredible dinner from Finley’s Grill & Smokehouse, several family and wedding party members gave toasts to Allanah and Vincent! They were filled with lots of laughter and a couple of happy tears, it was so evident how much these two were loved by their friends and family. Desserts were definitely not lacking this evening and gave guests plenty of options to choose from, including donuts, cake, petite cheesecakes and mini jarred pies. No extra sugar was need though to hype up this dance floor! This crew knew how to dance, especially Vincent and his fraternity brothers and Pj da DJ did not disappoint! Vincent and his fraternity brothers even serenaded Allanah with their wedding tradition hymn. Before the evening ended, we organized a “faux sparkler” exit before their photo/video team departed and then they headed back inside to dance the night away.
Congratulations Allanah and Vincent! It was such a wonderful day and we are truly so happy for you!
