Real Wedding Story: Darylann & Jimmy
Some people just have that gift of a genuine, warm and caring personality. Darylann and Jimmy definitely fall into this category. These two not only showered their friends and family with their selfless love, but each other as well. Daryl and Jimmy are obviously crazy about each other and their adorable daughter, Eastyn. Eastyn may have stole the show for a little while with her beyond cute smile! Although all eyes were on our charismatic bride and groom and their incredible wedding!
The Whiskey Factory provided the perfect modern industrial backdrop for their ceremony and reception. Fun fact; when Daryl and Jimmy first toured the Whiskey Factory, there was a leftover sign from another event with the initials “D & J” above the bar and they knew it was meant to be! Aimee, from Modernly Events, was at the helm for their wedding design and she created the ideal contemporary spring look for Daryl and Jimmy. Our new favorite spring colors are lavender, green and marble. Luxe Event Linens set the scene for their sweet ceremony with soft chiffon draping centered with a modern arch rental (Modernly Events) and floral installation ( English Gardens) on the lower level of the Whiskey Factory.
Their reception look was just the right blend of texture and color. Farm tables from Detroit Chiavari Event Rentals and acrylic chairs from UDesign Ghost Chairs gave the foundation for their reception look. Lush greenery garlands, soft chiffon runners, lavender napkins paired with cool marble chargers and hand-lettered marble coasters welcomed guests at each table. Daryl and Jimmy’s paper products from Modernly Events also carried through their marble look and lavender colors. Guests were also treated to the delicious food and hospitality of 2 Unique Caterers and Event Planners then finished off the night with a sweet treat. Our team filled their donut wall with the incredible confectionery designs of Donut Bar + Coffee. This was definitely a guest favorite for sure! Our couple’s must-have donut flavors were peanut butter oreo for Daryl and frosted animal cookie for Jimmy!
