About Us
Pineapple Punch Events began out of a love for producing events and wanting to put our own spin on it along with infusing our personalities into the process.
For us, planning your wedding begins with you as a couple, what makes you tick, what are you passionate about and what are your goals for your wedding day. From there, our team works to make sure that the wedding stays true to those elements and enfolds into a stress-free day for you to relax and enjoy time with your loved ones. This is our main goal and we find so much joy in creating those memories for you! Our team is based just outside of Grand Rapids in Coopersville and executes wedding planning services throughout Michigan.
We are very proud to offer planning services to all couples, no matter who you love or however you identify- your love matters to us!

Owner and Lead Planner
I’m originally from Royal Oak and now call Coopersville, Michigan home! I graduated from Central Michigan University with my undergrad/master’s degrees. My husband and I met working at a summer camp together and even got married at the same camp! We have 2 silly toddlers and 3 fluffy huskies that love to keep us laughing and on our toes!
I’ve been in the event planning industry for about a decade now with various experience in catering, rentals, marketing and transportation! I have always had a love and deep passion for programming, logistics and design!
Fun Facts:
-My go-to emergency kit item: Tape! I have at least 6 different kinds of tape in my emergency kit for just about every scenario.
-My favorite part of the wedding day: Sending couples down the aisle for the ceremony processional.
-Must-have on the wedding day: Chap-stick! I have them everywhere. I also have a weird wedding superstition where I have to have a Coke en route to weddings. But hey, it’s a thing now!
-When I’m not wedding planning: I love being outside with my family, walking the dogs or horseback riding! Indoors you can catch me re-watching Harry Potter or watching something dark and moody on Netflix. Bring me all the Tim Burton, “Sleepy Hollow” vibes!

Jennifer Yarbrough
Lead Coordinator
Born and raised in Jackson, wife and mother of 5 and a dog mom of 3 chihuahuas and the best lab ever! One of my daughters is recently engaged (hello overbearing, over-planning mother of the bride!) I’m also a scheduling coordinator for the busiest orthopedic surgeon in town, it’s basically a huge puzzle of people. It’s a challenge that I truly enjoy.
In the past, I have run and assisted with the successful planning and execution of large tournaments and community events. I am a people person through and through. I love seeing the big picture and bringing all of the corresponding logistics together.
Fun Facts:
-Go-to emergency kit item: Super glue, someone is always likely to break a heel or have a potential fashion malfunction.
-My favorite part of the wedding day: It’s a toss up between the first look & watching the couple react as the other walks down the aisle. I love witnessing raw emotion of those moments.
-Must-have thing on the wedding day: Change of shoes!
-When I’m not wedding planning: You can find me relaxing at home with my family & dogs, playing in the garden, or drinking a good cup of coffee with a girlfriend.
