Dani & Sarah

Sarah and Dani are pure joy and it was an absolute honor working with them to create the most perfect day. The day began with a huge group of their friends helping us decorate the venue followed by on-site hair and makeup and lots of food and drinks. Northern Michigan weather can be tricky during the fall but despite the forecast, the rain seemed to miss us. We were thrilled!

Guests began to arrive and were greeted with a ring warming station where Sarah and Dani’s rings were tied together and everyone held them in their hands and warmed them with love and well wishes. It was ceremony time and mother nature decided it was time for some rain! We quickly handed out umbrellas to guests and lined everyone up to head down the aisle. A little rain wasn’t going to dampen this day! Sarah in her stunning black dress and Dani in their custom black suit, they walked down the aisle, arm in arm, Dani holding an umbrella. As soon as they got down to the end of the aisle, the rain cleared! Their good friend, Max, performed a heartfelt ceremony against the backdrop of fall colors. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house!

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed signature cocktails named after their fur babies, Max and Ollie, and passed appetizers while enjoying northern Michigan’s beautifully colored landscape. Dani’s person of honor, Danya, delivered a heartfelt speech and invited everyone to take their seats inside. Inside, the tables featured crisp black linens, gold chargers, lush greenery, mini pumpkins, and soft candlelight.  The wedding party was introduced and lined the dance floor as the happy couple shared their first dance. Everyone in the room was laughing and crying as their friends and families shared memories and well wishes for the couple.  A delicious meal was served by Catering by Kelly’s as DJ Rodney Page walked amongst the tables playing his violin. After dinner, DJ Rodney got the party started with an absolutely packed dance floor! Their friends and family love a good dance party and Rodney did not disappoint, occasionally throwing in some phenomenal violin solos. As the evening continued, guests mingled around the bonfire and enjoyed a s’mores bar and popcorn bar. As we came to a close, DJ Rodney Page brought Sarah and Dani to the front of the dance floor and surprised them with a freestyle. It was such a fun way to end the most incredible day. The love these two have for each other and every single person that is part of their lives is something incredible to watch. The love is palpable. I am forever grateful to have been a part of their big day and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. Congratulations!
